I have problems with Ripjaws-X F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL.
Anyone know what the best timings, volts etc are for running at 1600 or 1866 ?
with my mobo (see sig)
As I can only get them stable at 9-9-9-24 1t, 669mhz 1333, fsb ratio 5:1

Hi m8, did you get anywhere with your memory ?

I have been playing with mine as I was asked how it clocked (im selling it in MM).

Anyway, these do NOT like volts, mine at 1.65v will not do CAS9 @1600mhz without throwing errors.
In fact overclocking with volts does nothing for it at all.
Its most happy at 1.4-1.5v , and to get it clocking higher requires the CAS changing from 9 to 10 for upto 1850, then cas 11 after that. i
It tops out at cas11,11,10,29 @ 1.5v(1.48 actual) 1970mhz
Changing the voltage over 1.55v = stability issues and crashes in memtest #5 2nd pass.

So if you can i recommend dropping the volts , might be issue ?

Exactly what I managed to work out, it don't like volts at all :D
I think I have it stable now at 9-9-9-24 2T 1600mhz so it must have been the fact that it was overvolting on the preset overclock upping the the mhz to 1600 it automaticly put volts up, which I had it does on this board :(

oh thanks for the settings for the overclock try them later, did try em at 1866mhz if you did did you use 10-10-10-27 2T ?

Ill be interested on how you get on tbh.

Could not get the magic 2000mhz @ CAS10, but might have a weak mem controller as it starts to need bumping up after 1800mhz memory speed, but I am not going over 1.3v(self imposed max)

Just got back, let it running metest all morning

1 error after 8passes @ cas10,9,9,28 1T 1.44v @ 186mhz BCLK (930mhz)
So its 185max (925mhz) at current settings.
It seems to like creeping the mhz too rather then going for block clocks as i would normally have tried , since i could not get it to post at these settings yesterday till its done its night of memtest loops.
This is probably where people are going wrong (from numerous forums posts i have seen) since clocking it is very fiddly and not in the manner usually used.

As for 2000mhz, these are the 4-8GB XL kits available
Frequency Timing Available Capacity Voltage Color Model name
1333MHz CL 9-9-9-24 4GB/8GB/16GB 1.5V Red XL
1600MHz CL 9-9-9-24 4GB/8GB/16GB 1.5V Red XL
1866MHz CL 9-9-9-24 4GB 1.5V Red XL
1866MHz CL 9-9-9-24 8GB (2GB*4) 1.6V Red XL
1866MHz CL 9-9-9-24 8GB (4GB*2) 1.6V Red XL(D) (+ Fan)
2133MHz CL9-11-9-28 4GB 1.65 Red XL
2133MHz CL9-11-9-28 8GB/16GB 1.65 Red XL(D)(+ Fan)
2200MHz CL9-11-9-28 4GB 1.6V Red XL(D)(+ Fan)
2200MHz CL9-11-9-28 8GB/16GB 1.65V Red XL(D)(+ Fan)

Oddly none are listed as needing CAS10 for the Mhz they attain
