I can see OcUK from here
Not sure if its been confirmed or anything, so if it has i missed it, but you got to be thinking what does the laser pointer really do, getting in someones eyes is funny but how about helping out the mav lock on "transformers style" got to be a little bit epic if they do it.

Confirmed jets ' from vids ' so far are the F16 and SU35.

@ Gerrard, yeah fun times ahead.

As for team killing and waiting for vehicles, find yourself a well admined server with a line system for vehicles. EA DE pornostars is the server to frequent if you want the best BF3 experience where tards are dealt with in no time.

After some googling I've gone and updated my post a few pages back where I was asking for details of the pre-order bonuses and retailers. Because I couldn't find it all in one place of what the bonuses are and who had them I've gone and put it all together:

I was searching for a nice post somewhere about what the pre-order bonuses are and which retailer has what, but I couldn't really find one :(. As such I thought I'd make a summary post! Here is what I know... feel free to post up anything else you guys know too :).

Pre-Order Features
Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand
Back_to_Karkand.png

Battlefield 3: Back To Karkand is a themed expansion pack for Battlefield 3, and is included in all pre-orders of Battlefield 3. Strike at Karkand, Wake Island, Gulf of Oman, and Sharqi Peninsula are the four maps included in Battlefield 3: Back To Karkand. All of the maps have been rebuilt from the ground up to work with the Frostbite 2 engine. The expansion will also include classic Battlefield 2 weapons and vehicles, new achievements and trophies, and more.
If you don't pre-order and miss out on Back to Karkand, you will be able to buy it separately for £11.99 later on (release date not yet announced). This expansion pack is not on the disc and is not available on the launch date of the base game. Everyone (those who got it free with their pre-order and those who buy it separately for £11.99) will be able to start playing Back to Karkand at the same date.

Physical Warfare Pack
Physical_Warfare_Pack.png

Physical Warfare Pack is a set of three time-based exclusive items and one early weapon unlock for Battlefield 3. You get a Type 88 LMG with bipod, flash suppressor for the SKS sniper rifle, and armour piercing DAO-12 rounds. Day one access to the DAO-12 shotgun has also been announced. It is a time-based exclusive. If you do not pre-order Battlefield 3 at a retailer carrying the Physical Warfare Pack, don’t worry. The contents of the Physical Warfare Pack will be unlocked for free to all Battlefield 3 players later this year.

SPECACT Kit Upgrade

SPECACT Kit Upgrade is a set of 8 multiplayer skins, one for each class and side in Battlefield 3.

Dog Tag Pack
Dog_Tags.png

Dog tags in Battlefield 3 serve as your in-game signature, displayed on screen every time you defeat an enemy. You can also claim the dog tag of your enemies via skilful stealth knife takedowns. This pre-order exclusive pack gives you 5 unique dog tag designs to complement the standard range in the game.

Battlefield Play4Free Items
Play4free.png

The Battlefield 3 Edition 870 Combat shotgun and the Battlefield 3 Beret items for in-game use in the play-for-free title Battlefield Play4Free. Not only will these help customize your in-game avatar, you’ll also be able to get up-close and personal, devastating the competition with the business end of one of the most effective close-quarter weapons in history.

48 Hour Early Access to the Open Beta
As the title says - a 2 day (48 hours) early access to the Battlefield 3 Open Beta starting in September 2011. This is the same early access to the Open Beta as purchasing Medal of Honour: Limited Edition/Tier 1 Edition.

Any confirmation if those who pre-ordered from Origin awhile ago will still get all the extras?

I pre-ordered it from Origin when it was on offer for ~£17, which was awhile ago, so hopefully ill still get those extras and its not just for new orders.

Tough choice between the specact kit and the PWP. I'm going with the specact.

toString made perfectly valid points and despite your self appointed mantle of BF3 aficionado you seem to resort to sarcasm to cut him down, followed up by referring to the masses as clowns.

So think twice about telling me how to post when you openly admit to taking huge amounts of flack for your own, why do you think that is? Play nice and people will play nicely with you.

just a quicky...if i pre- order on origin, do they take the money straight away ? or when the game is actualy released?

cheers chris
Found this. Says you may have the full amount taken and then returned to you... but that you shouldnt have the full amount taken until release.

no release date has been confirmed for Back to Karkand wonder if it will be within the month i need Karkand NOW lol:eek:

I don't get the love for karkand, tons of grenade spam and only a couple of tanks to use. Considering the amount of ranting for jets it seems weird that a map without them and very limited vehicle gameplay in general is considered to be so good.

It's a good map when you're not playing it 24/7 that's when it's repetitive and predictable due to the karkand 24/7 regulars, when it's in a rotation it's a great map to hit after being on an airmap.
