ED: afterburners reporting only a 60%ish load on each gpu at the minute, so im losing quite a bit of performance.

So i did a clean install of windows 7 and know im getting decent scores.
I managed to get to 1200/1600 @ 1225 voltage, temps 76c and a score 2067
Im thinking if getting a artic accelero xtreme cos the noise from the reference fan is ridiculous. How much further you reckon i could push it with the xtreme?

Right then disabled the bottom 2 cards (pulled the power out 
)
125 strap + 105 Host frequency= 130mhz BCLK+PCIE x 38 cpu got me 5000mhz

The blk trick deffo allows more GPU speed, I have never ever taken my GPU that far.

I really wish I could get this to work with all the cards in, but I just get a black screen, Windows loads up perfect and everything - just a black screen.

Probably putting way too much strain on the motherboard/gpu's with three cards running at 105BLK.

I meant the host frequency set @ 100mhz by default, you set to to 105 + 125 strap gives you a BLCK of 130+mhz, well it does on my board.

I'm familiar with BLK on sandybridge but the strap (unless locky is referring to a jock strap) not so much. I vaguely remember a fsb strap from my socket 775 days but that was so long ago its since been forgotten.

I think the strap is tied in with x79
Is it the CPU's Internal clock speed, What you used to call the FSB and i call the HT-Link Bus.

But does it allow for a more stable GPU clock?
because at the moment im sure you all have the same issues as me when you get to 1300+ that the Thing is artifacting like a disco show.
Thats why my max score is on a 1260 overclock as that's stable and no artifacts.
