7970 @ 1274/1823
FX8350 @ 4.8ghz
I can't go over 1274Mhz without it artifacting. The guys with 7970s that are getting core clocks over 1300Mhz, do they have access to higher vcore? Max vcore in AB is 1.30v, reading 1.28v in HWiNFO.

Trixx for me allows 1.381v core and 1.800v memory.
Anything up to 1270/1800 shows no artifacts for me, anything over 1800 mem and the scores go lower anyway. I dont like benching with artifacts, but that's me, i would hazzard a guess and say most the top 10 (Titans excluded) were probably artifacting :D

I can run 1325MHz without any artifacts, but as soon as I start going over that is when the arifacts start. Using Afterburner I set the voltage to 1.350v and under load it reaches 1.365v (tested using a multi meter).

I cant figure out how you AMD guys are getting such high clocks without BSOD, its really bugging me now.

In the past i have found MSI AB BSOD my GPU even at stock, is there something else in my system that's causing this now?

Any of you guys run System Monitor II?

Closed some apps and set CCC to defaults. Score has improved a bit. :)

Also, I downloaded trixx but it had the same vcore limit as AB so I'm guessing that's the limit of my card or I need to find a bios that will allow a higher limit.

kamz temperatures are not a problem in my case with external radiator and ek Full cover block. Maximum i had so far was 53 after 4 hours of playing crysis 3 :p

I should see how far i can push them memories on my VTx 7950 :D Maybe next month i will flush my cooling system and add another 120mm rad between cpu and gpu :)
Still best 7950 on ocuk :D

Like i said it really depends what memory chips your card has, my hynix clock very high, however the eplida (sp) are not as strong.

53 temps is very nice, sadly I don't have a full cover block but my vrms are below 70 most of the time

thanks for the kind words :)

I cant remember the last time my system BSOD during a single card benchmark. I think the trick is to know the limit of the vram on the card and do not over-step.

My room ambient temps are usually around 15C when i run the bench.

Also, do not use Afterburner for overclocking, always use Trixx. Trixx is solid, AB is prone to crashing or locking up my rig.

I never bothered overclocking the memory before as I thought that it didn't really make difference but it has this time.

Can you please update my score as it should put me one place higher in the rankings. I won't be trying to higher my overclock so this will be my last entry.

i5 2500k @ 4.5 air

GTX 670 SLI @ 1241/6808, 1202/6808 air.

Thanks Humbug. :)
