Cool, i think i might have slight chance still.

Have you done every tweak that there is?, if not then i think the slightly better cpu is the key.

You didn't add your gpu clocks.

People are just joining to beat me now. :)

I think i might still have a few points left in the tank, not much though.

I'm tempted to snag some faster mem just for this then sell it.

I don't think faster memory will make any difference on this, CPU clockspeed is what does it.

Z87 and a 4770k or 4670k with a single card should give the best results.

I think faster mem might help in this benchmark but not in day to day use, will try it if i can get some cheap enough.

Just run these for you with a GTX 690 @stock.

In the first run the system ram is at 1600mhz 9-11-11-25 1T 96

In the second run the system ram is at 2400mhz 9-11-11-25 1T 96

Going from 1600mhz to 2400mhz on the system ram gave an increase of just 2 points (and that could be absorbed by the margin of error).

Faster ram helps on the 3dmark benches but on this and Heaven 4 there is nothing for it to do.

Best i could do i think, started becoming unstable after these figures.

EVGA GTX 780
Stock figures = Core 863 (902) Mem 1502
OC figures = Core 1081 (1120) Mem 1767

CPU 3770K @ 4.5

Score = 3108

When i get a second card i'll add to the sli table too.

Having found the Kepler BIOS Tweaker I've upped my voltages on My Asus 680 from 1150 to 1212 which has allowed me to bump up my core from 1241 to 1267 and my memory from 3294 to 3496 so my Vally score has gone from 2059 to 2151.

Updated Score Asus 680 - 2151 @ 1267 Core & 3496 VRAM.
