If I ran @1080p I would score exactly the same on 4 cards due to the CPU bottleneck.

1440p and 1600p is going to be needed in this bench as I think the 290 and 290X will be huge sellers.

AMD need to work on Driver performance with this Bench, Gibbo's bench @ 1200Mhz ranks it 26, some 26% behind the top Titan, they score 57% higher than the highest 770 and 55% higher than the highest 7970.

Incredible scaling, Nvidia have the drivers absolutely spot on, twice the scaling of AMD's drivers.

Do you have a link for Gibbo's review with valley @1200mhz

Hi there

Right guys, I got some voltage control, so I've done a benchmark run at 1200MHz core and 6400MHz memory, gives quite a substancial boost in performance over the 1060MHz core and 6000Mhz benchmarks I did this week.

Check them out here:-

Such a damn quick card, this now places it ahead of the 1310MHz GTX 780 I included in the review in all test. :)

I think these are the results kaap.

Here you Humbug, the full set for 1600p

All @994/1789

3930k @5.1

Scaling is good for 1, 2 and 3 cards but using 4 I get hit by the CPU bottleneck even at 1600p

Nice scores Kaap.

1080p 1x Titan 1175/1550 4960x 4.5

CBA to cherry pick out of the 3 this is the first time I've bothered trying to clock them singularly. So timid on the stock BIOS

All done.

Kaap, how did you manadge near 20% higher score than whyscotty at pretty much the same settings @ 1600P 3 GPU's?

I didn't, it's just the way the clocks are written. My clocks are what I set but if you add boost to them they go a lot higher.

You also need to change whyscotty's mem speed to 1502 as I think he was just running the stock clocks. Expect a big score from whyscotty anytime soon, well when he has paid the elec bill anyway.:D

Here is what my cards were doing behind the scenes, I just re ran the bench using the same GPU settings but with the CPU @5.0 (I wanted to make sure I finished the bench).

If you check out the GPU load, it is all over the place where the cards are bottlenecking even @1600p. This is something we are going to see more and more of as people buy R9 290 and 290Xs and use them in multi GPU setups.

You said
All @994/1789
while whyscotty said
1006/6008
and yet your posting about 18% higher scores, The application states 1379Mhz clearly thats what it is or what its spent most of the time running at, from here on what clock rates the application display is what will get added to the leader board.
