I did a major gaming session with it yesterday.

Stuck to 32-42 player servers to avoid the server crashing and rubber-banding only to find that client side crashes were more frequent.

64 player servers are CPU IPC limited, if I go onto an empty server, I get a near 200fps locked frame-rate so, am considering upping my settings a little on supersampling.

It is the first game to exploit my rig so I am not keen upgrading to 290x when the three 7970s are delivering my target frame-rates in a cool, calm fashion. With Mantle also going to provide a bump, I sense un-finished business with these cards and it would be a shame to dump them at this point.

Settings are FOV120, Ultra except for Mesh (High) and AA off.

PS. Yes, the cut-scenes are choppy, how some of this stuff evaded QA testing is beyond my comprehension.

that just shows how much i know...thanks guys......is there any way of checking if both cards are working and can you still run bf4 through radeon pro or is that not designed to work on 64 bit applications.....thanks..

You can use radeonpro to enable some gpu monitoring in Battlefield 4. You need to create a BF4 profile in BF4 and then tick to enable the OSD.

An excellent start to life with BF4...

My mouse doesn't work while running around on foot, it moves up and down to fixed positions, won't move side to side. Brilliant.

Mouse does work as normal in a vehicle, just not on foot. I'd rather uninstall the game then buy a new mouse if its a hardware issue.

Cm Storm Sentinel advance (5700dpi, sensitivity in game to 20%) and windows 8.1 using 331.65.

Worth noting it worked perfectly in the beta.

Edit: Seems to be directly related to windows 8.1, was on 8.0 for the beta. Brilliant.

never saw where it went to 26fps lol, 32 man server plays very well sometimes it feels a little laggy, But the graphics are just gorgeous ;)

what i don't want to see when Mantel comes out is a drop in performance on DX to make Mantel look better.

Very happy with how it plays so far.

Nope, same either way, on or off, movement on vertical axis only and thats fixed positions, completely unplayable.

I don't know which **** at DICE or Microsoft is behind this, but bravo son.

found this

http://www.reddit.com/r/windows/comments/1oor43/windows_81_warning_for_gamers_issues_with/

1) Right click the EXE of the game in question.

2) Go to properties

3) Go to the compatibility tab

4) Check "run this program in compatibility mode for" and select "Windows 8."

5) Check "disable scaling on high DPI settings."

6) Check "run this program as an administrator."

I have a SteelSeries Sensai, which doesn't work properly with W8.1 :( can't use the extra buttons or anything. Works ok as a basic mouse though.

are you on win 8.1 by anychance ?

Yep :(

Everything besides being on foot works perfectly.

Cheers flopper, been looking at that post, tried the fix for compatibility mode etc... still the same.

Also tried having mousemovementrecorder running, still the same thing.

I don't even understand how this is a ******* issue, surely and I mean SURELY someone at DICE must have picked up the final copy of this game and gone "****, hang on a min guys, my mouse doesn't work with the latest windows OS"

They did this with BF3 too, release a so called 'beta' that does nothing to benefit the final outcome of the game acting only as a publicity stunt. Absolutely fed up of lazy **** developers pushing out public betas with a price tag on it with the "we'll deal with it later" attitude.

Two latest games I've played....Batman AO & BF4, guess what, they're both broken. Its just lazy.

You can't even assign reload gun to the delete key without using a third party settings editor. So id say your chances of getting your mouse working with the game are slim to none.
