They seem to forget it more than bandwidth its also power from slot, the GTX 590 would not have had to be crippled by voltage limiters if it was PCI-E 3.0 and fry when you pushed it too far.

I'm not sure how much of a difference it makes, but I'm sure its making atleast some different but probably only when running 2 or more cards.

A few Gens ago the top EVGA card saturated the PCI-E 2.0 but by about 5% so I would say a 780Ti can.

I would need try and get keywords correct to find out what card but its 1 of the Classified or such that was a good bit faster than the ref at that time but it was a Single GPU card.

Well leave whats in the tank there my 780 wont clock high enough to catch ur old result . side note Your AB doesnt show your HT cores or you have HT off?

Might give you a couple fps with HT disabled, might try.

Well to be fair Triss, I am out of the upgrades for a while, as I have no spare cash for a couple of years (bank loan). I need overtime but that isn't an option at work at the mo

mind you, I have said this before and still managed to scrape enough to buy a couple of bits

I like going out at the weekends still, so my disposable pays for beers and take-aways.
