Uncle Petey has quite a bit higher score with a lower clocked 4-core CPU, so surely you're not CPU limited?

You've been eating too many Cornish Pasties. :p

I can't better my 1080P score without a 6 core cpu. Higher gpu clocks get me no score improvement. I can improve my 1440P score though if i can be bothered.

As you can see, I'm right. :D

Hi guys, I have upgraded to an i5 3570k but seem to be getting lower FPS in the games I have tested which are hitman, sleeping dogs and tomb raider. Any ideas? FPS isn't marginally lower it's just a less than 1 FPS difference. Surely there should be some improvement although I know not a massive one due to my GPU :p I have seen some videos on YouTube where FPS has been better than what I've been getting.

Hitman Absolution is on discount sale on steam for the next few hours.

Nice one Kaap.

I will have a go at improving my scores on this when we next have a cool day. Not tried 14.6 yet on this bench, but can definitely improve my 1440P score. 1080P showed no performance increase with my gpu's any higher than stock due to the cpu bottleneck.

That is a very good score LtMatt I don't think you are having any problems with bottlenecking. Have another go with the CPU @4.8 and I don't think you will get much different. Check out my 1600p score done @4.8 on two cards.

Bottlenecking becomes a real pain once the FPS gets over about 105.

Scoreboard updated.:)

Fair point. I did see gpu usage drop a tad at points though. I can probably better my score a bit more as the gpu's will go higher on a short bench like this. At 1080P i can't do anything though. Overclocking the gpu's makes no difference, need a 6 core to improve 1080P. Either that or 5.4Ghz. Not sure I've got the balls to risk more voltage though. The cpu will definitely do it though. :p

I know the last time I ran the Hitman benchmark Nvidia cards didn't fair well.

What voltage did you need for 5.3?
