Little improvement Kapp :) Really need to get my chip to 4.8Ghz lol.

I7 3770K @ 4.6GHz
7950 Crossfire @ 1150/1575

4.6ghz is fine for the CPU on this bench, going any higher won't do much as it is all about graphics grunt and getting the most out of the cards.

You can turn off hyperthreading for a few more points if you have not done so already.:)

4K

It is always good to get 4K scores, even more so from the red team as they are quite rare.:)

I have just noticed I have not done a 4K trifire score yet.:D

Crossfire Asus 270's @ 1050/1500
i5 2500k @ 4.4GHz

Welcome to the thread, it is good to get some 270s on the board.:)

Scoreboard updated.:)

Nice Kaap. I get very little boost in score when i overclock in this bench, guess it's because the fps are so low. This bench needs four cards at 4k. I might have to stick one of my spare 3x290P's in for a go at some point.

Screen shot says x4 kaap?

Same on Valley

With crossfire if you run 3 cards in trifire but there are 4 present the screenshot will show 4 even though the 4th card is doing nothing.

This is why I did a new 4 card run on the Valley bench to show the difference between 3 and 4 cards.

I could have got a slightly higher score by turning the 4th card off on the mobo as this would have allowed the rest of the system to run a little cooler, unfortunately this involves restarting the PC.

Does cpu speed make much difference in this? Gonna clock this chip later this week for a few benches.

Depends on how many GPUs and resolution.

@4K very little difference

@1080

For 1 GPUs, 4.5ghz on the CPU is plenty.

For 2 GPUs, 4.7ghz on the CPU is plenty.

For 3 GPUs, 4.9ghz on the CPU will do the job.

For 4 GPUs, PM 8 Pack and ask if he has any spare LN2, on air and water you are bottlenecked.:D
