Lets put it this way I ran it on my quadfired 290Xs and found out that my PC was faster than 87% of other PCs. This means that I have got one of the slowest PCs on this forum.

How are you getting your minimum FPS so high?

I just benchmarked at 4k and my minimum was 0.3 fps?!

Maybe because I had ULPS off...

I have a 295x2 and 290x in Tri-fire.

Will disable ULPS now and test again.

Could be... I don't run AMD cards much. What's the actual problem you're having? Low minimums just at 4k?

Hmmm, didn't make a difference.

My Min FPS at 4k was 38 right until the screen went black.

Usually the sound carries on for a bit, and you can still see the benchmark FPS counter, but I could hear the sound stop for a second and then saw the min dropped to 2fps. Then it happened again and the benchmark score threw up min 0.3 fps.

Clearly there is something awry at the end of my benchmark in 4k, as I also tested at 1080p and the problem didn't occur.

Anyway, scores below

295x2 @ stock (1018/1250) + 290x @ stock (1000/1250)
5930k @ 4.4Ghz
1080p

AND

295x2 @ stock (1018/1250) + 290x @ stock (1000/1250)
5930k @ 4.4Ghz
2160p (UHD)

What happens if you run just the 295x2. Still dropping down to single digit minimums? Run AB's overlay and check memory usage whilst in Tri-Fire at 4k.

I used MSI Afterburner on a 4k run though and there was no bottleneck relating to the cards. The PC just seems to freeze (and actually it was a lot longer than 1 second, more like 5!) because the OSD from Afterburner stopped updating whilst it froze up.

Doesn't happen in any other games so I know it's not an issue with my PC.

Sadly, I have to physically disable the 3rd GPU because when you have a 295x2 the CCC doesn't allow you to disable crossfire on specific GPU's.

And it's too late to faff about with now

The problem at the end of the bench is caused by a lack of VRAM.

Run GPUZ and set it to measure the max amount of VRAM used and you will see what i mean.

Yes Hitman is a one of a small number of games where 4gb of video memory is not enough at 4K to stop frame drops.
