I bought mine because of a higher base clock (no messing with the bios) and the SC 980s came with Samsung memory instead of Hynix, unfortunately this was not repeated for the TitanX.

If you've went to all that effort you may as well go a little further and water cool the lot.

Also gives you the option to run silly volts through them for synthetic benchmarks.

Aye, I think Linus did a video about it and he said if you aren't a plumber or handy with stuff like that it can take quite a few tries to get it right.

It's over kill for a 21:9 2560x1080 resolution, but what the heck lol.

The build looks to be mainly a showcase build, you can argue it would be silly not to watercool the RAM after all that effort in making it look flash. Most RAM blocks are no more restrictive than angle fittings.

I love my pointless RAM block, VRM block and especially my lovely SB block which helps support my hefty GPU block using a rigid tubing connection.
