To get on the Roll of Honour all you have to do is post a pic with your user name on it of your 980 Ti.

Hey Kaap - are you forgetting someone, or am I just not worthy of your list?? :D:D:D:D:D:D

Mmm, try the new drivers. Bios should be ok then. Just that with some new cards I've seen people who required an update fir the card to be recognized.

I will update the bios to the latest version which is 2012 and install newest drivers. Is anyone running a 980ti on a asus z68 chipset and if so, how old is your bios? I think my card is duff......

Fan was a bit noisy, but I have now connected it to a motherboard header and got it running at a fixed 60% duty cycle. Much quieter, temps still didn't go above 55 deg C and you could feel the heat being shifted out the back :D

You mean the fan on the Rad? or the card? I don't understand how some people say it's virtually 'silent' and others like yourself say it's noisy, what type of noise is it?

I'm looking for a near silent card, I don't hear a peep out of my EVGA 980 SC while capped to 60 hertz.

I mean the radiator fan. It has a fair bit of motor drone and shifts a lot of air, not overly quietly.

I am used to large, slow fans in my PC. I might replace it at some point.

I found the speed set by the pump at idle still to be too fast. I like my PC really quiet when I am just looking on the internet, etc.

This card will not be good for people looking for a completely silent solution though, as you can hear the pump working, even if you swap for a silent fan. Not loud enough to be a problem for me though.

Very Interesting, thanks for the feedback, I may reconsider upgrading right now then as my 980 SC is damn near silent and that is very important to me, sometimes more important than frames as I use my machine for a lot of web surfing at night also.
