So ran the in game benchmark at 1440p on option 2 I believe - which was max settigns (or ultra) and my results are :

Yeah, didn't realise MSAA in GTA V was such a killer! Is this an outlier game or something for that? :eek:

A shame though as FXAA isn't perfect. I presume you don't have MSAA on either?

You definitely want a reference card if you are going to SLI, which one doesn't really matter in all honesty - It's just brand name, warranty and whether they'll let you remove the stock cooler without voiding warranty if you plan on watercooling.

Also, if you followed Gibbo's post a few pages ago you'd be able to get a similar OC on the standard EVGA without having to pay the extra for "Superclock"

For those of you running gtav, make sure you enable MFAA in nvidia control panel for gtav. It is a new improved less costly version of msaa, they say it has 25% less overhead so it's worth a shot.

Delighted with my card, can't wait to start playing with it this weekend, will post pictures next week.

Have also ordered a few Noctua fans for my case to replace the fans that were included with my AIO CPU/GPU as well as my Corsair Air 540 Case so a nice little project to work on.

One last play with the clocks before I try a custom bios. I can run the card stable to 1450mhz with the stock voltage 1.187mv. Fairly surprised at that.

Speaking of GTA V settings with the 980Ti - isn't it that quite a few of GTA Vs settings make no difference at Ultra high, such as tessellation and post fx, they just look the same at High?

Trying to get that sweet AA on without the blurry mess that is FXAA at 60fps stable.

should get my 980ti tomorrow morning

sad thing is got no games I actually want to play lol

should be a nice upgrade from my 280x and my son gets an upgrade from my old 7850 lol, he's actually played the new batman game on it and gtav :O
amazing how long gpus last these days and still cope

My boost core is at 1567 @ + 175 so that buts my non-boost at 1392

I am thinking of upgrading my set to a 4K one. Am i right in thinking that i can save FPS by disabling AA etc as it will have little effect on a 4K pixel count

Just stuck one of these on my Titan x mate and its brilliant. Defo get that crappy fan taken off the rad though and get a silent fan or two stuck on
