The bar colour under the PerfCap reason is linked to the list of reasons below, this is on the sensors tab in GPU-Z.

This is the best way to find out the reason behind any throttling limits you may have. Good luck!.

I am sure the image quality in Windows is better with my 980ti than my 980, anyone else had this? Seems sharper at 4k.

MSI ordered as well. Coming from 780 sli which I think is on par the 970 sli if not a tad behind? Will be interesting to see the difference. This is the card I have been waiting years for, something to deal with 1440p max settings. Will not miss having to mess with profiles and nvidia inspector to get certain titles working in sli!

I am going 1440p too but now I'm contemplating a wide-screen Dell U3415W so I may be short of grunt anyway.

It's impressive when you see all of the performance you had when scaling, if not more, all in a cooler and quieter solution. No faffing about with software too as it's so much more consistent.

Could be a driver setting, in NVidia control panel there are options for sharpness, dithering and digital vibrance, it's possible these have changed if you reinstalled the driver and changed overall look of the display. Otherwise, no it's not possible.

what fan settings do people use on the GIGABYTE G1 980ti's? i had mine set on the auto but they only kick in at 55 degrees, and wasn't sure what i should be running them at so looked at the manual setting that enables fans at certain speeds at certain temps, and wondering if I should just leave this on manual? some people here must haev some suggestions!
