Soooo close to 4000, but time for bed. Might get better if I actually OC the Cpu, instead of just bumping up the multiplier.

I was just curious as to the 98% xfire scale, seems a bit high :p

I can manage better than that with SLI and maybe C/F too.

yeah, what else is new?

So which do you think scales better on the Unigine benches (SLI or C/F) using 4 cards (Heaven 4 and Valley) ?

Remember to measure scaling all the cards in an array (1 and 4 up) must use the same actual clockspeeds.:)

Kaap, I was just fed up with some of the people in these forums with their cynical posts. 10 year old humor from multiple users here does not entertain me anymore ;)

regarding scaling:
4k 1GPU@1117Mhz
https://flic.kr/p/xrezm8

4k xfire, gpus @ 1117Mhz
https://flic.kr/p/xrdX2p
CPU in the sig ;) when you have a chance, might as well update the ranks, and put them two slower than 980ti, whiny, unattractive to sell, rare fury xs at the top of the leaderboard ;)

And question about multiGPU scaling does not need to be asked, since xfire scaling by far better in real world and synthetics.
And since I don't care about 1080p with multiGPUs, and this leaderboard lacks any substantial single/multigpu comparisons from same user, except me, I cannot draw any conclusions about nvidians. And have no clue about 3 or more GPUs. Soon should be able to test 3 fury xs, but until then, my fury xs scaling from 1 to 2 gpus is pretty much perfect in this bench.

Fortunately I don't updated this bench as I have already got plenty of my own to worry about.:D

As to people making comments about multi GPU scaling I would ignore them if I was you as there are very few people who have used 3 or more GPUs and therefore don't have any first hand experience. Once you have your 3 Fury Xs up and running you will be able to find out for yourself and draw your own conclusions.

As to which scales better SLI or C/F they really are both very good providing there is proper driver support for the game or bench. Unfortunately they both don't have good support for the same games. One of the funniest things with SLI scaling is they often tend to do it best on Gaming Evolved titles and worst on Gameworks titles (yes i did get that round the right way).

I also find for best results with multi GPU scaling it is best to use max game settings or as close to as possible and moderate CPU clockspeed (around 4.0 to 4.2).

Sorry, Kaap, I thought it was your thread :)
Joe, you should check various test results of AMDMatt's Fury Xs. When xfire works it works amazing even in games.

Not really though, i've always found heaven and the like to favour Nvidia, hence why i never offer benchmarks in them really when i'm using AMD.

When the 7xxx Series got their magic drivers (12.11?), Nvidia couldn't really get near them and it took one of my Lightning 680s at 1450Mhz to get in the top 10. Then came the Titans and since then you are correct, the benches have favoured Nvidia. I was just expecting to see the FX in the top 20 at least with how it copes better with Tessellation.

The 12.11 drivers were considered magic?

I kept those drivers up until GTA:V came out, I wasn't fond of updating, and they performed really well.

Pretty happy. Managed to squeeze +110MHz on the memory with my new setup... I guess that's the difference of a 'good' motherboard?

Thank you :)

I may be able to get more out of my card but it was just something to do whilst taking a break from tweaking my CPU :p

That's for another day I guess.
