Already got speeding fines, crashed etc! Steep learning curve for me! Might scrap user and make another.

When I played the demo I missed the turning for Dover ferry port and ended up turning around at the next junction, only to get stuck and have to spend 5 mins getting around the barriers and cars to drive back down to the turn then cut across a load of traffic to board my ferry.

I am the best lorry driver ever. :o

This is something I've just read from SCS:

The upcoming extensive game update is going to bring quite a lot changes and improvements, lots of tweaks to the map, to AI, to physics, to lights, translations into new languages, and more. We are currently in beta testing of these changes, but it's a really big batch of code, art, and design touches, and may take some time to polish (perhaps up to two weeks) before we hope to be in shape to release it.

So maybe there won't be a need for some of the current mods.

The radio should be controlled/heard from within the cab only. Ruins the immersion with it playing on menus/outside etc.

I am slightly tempted by this as I have a DFGT and Tir5 and looks like a great option for a less intense game.

Are the roads well populated or is it quite sparse?

I know that the road map is not 1:1 or even completely inaccurate in some places but are there real landmarks in relative positions and road signs to relative places even if you can't go there? In these sort of games the more immersion the better.

Are the new devil's punch bowl tunnels in if you take the route down to the south coast from London?

When I played the demo there was a decent amount of traffic in towns but the motorways seemed to be rather clear, unless there was a car parked in a lane indicating with a massive pile of traffic behind it :D

Still have no idea what they were doing, saw a few cars doing that...
