I was planning on going to the Cinema today to finally see the new Batman movie at my local Odeon. So I checked online and the biggest (best) Screen is showing it at 7:30pm.

But... that is described as being 'Audio Described', and I was wondering whether this will be mixed-in with the Movie sounds, or available via a a private headset or such. Anyone know? The last thing I want is to pay £6.50 to have a film ruined by having it described to me, all the way through. :p :o

Found this:

Audio description is delivered through a headset, which is provided when you collect your ticket (you may have to pay a small, returnable deposit). The audio description will be running whenever a film is showing, so you should be able to attend any screening of films with audio description, and sit anywhere in the auditorium, just like anyone else.

Not on Odeon website, mind - but it does list Odeons as having that facility :)
