Thanks to 'primouf'

He did some 290 3dmark runs here : http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/1515052

So, (left) Primouf's Stock 290 (non-x) @ 947/1250 vs (right) My Watercooled 7970 @ 1360/1860

The result indicates that the 290 is one hell of a card out of the box !

Your 7970 at 1360 is flipping blazing.

Yeah, she is definitely a screamer, what's more impressive is that the 290 does all that, out of the box, heaven knows what they are going to do underwater. A 40% overclock over stock implies a 14k graphics score.

that was the max during other tests and games with lower fan speed ( i did not close afterburner )

and if it really did go to 94°C during my last test then you wouldn't see 42°C right afterwards... as it takes a **** load of time to get back down in temp.

Essex innit!
That score in 3DMark is pretty damned impressive for those clocks. This card could be a beast and surpass its bigger brother in quite a few scenarios (Like the 780 does the Titan).

Thanks for sharing these bench score Primouf :)

Stock Titan speeds for £450? (+ 350 + 100 for the block).
