I've recently finished modifying my turntables. I thought I'd show you all.

Don't watch the photography skills, my camera is pony. The set up is a work in progress, and should be completed in a week or two.

The last thing I did was to swap the old yellow LEDs for red, which look infinately better and replace both tonearms. I was going to do a 'how to' but quite honestly it so much effort I couldnt be bothered.

Tama Iron Cobra Power Glide double pedal; won it on an auction for £180 inc postage. As you can see it has a few scratches etc but plays like a dream.
Very happy :)[/QUOTE]

Stu (ex drummer of eternal lord) swears by those. He practically made our drummer by a set after his old pearl set kept falling apart :p

He also uses the same china as you too! You play a lot of metal by any chance? :D

Unfortunately, I don't play a great deal at all at the moment :( I live in Newton Abbot but go to Bristol every weekend, so it makes it very difficult being commited to a band with all the travelling. Although in about 4 weeks i'll be moving to Bristol to live so i'll be able to join a band properly, which excites me greatly as i'll be able to play this beauty more often:

Sweatshop.
It's a Rockstar Custom in Custom Mahogany. It's a line which has been discontined for a good few years now, the Superstar Custom has replaced it.

Has served me well though, have not long put all new Remo heads on and sounds really good :)

you should change your skins quite often, bad lad!

Yeah tell me about it! Just atm I hardly play it due to travelling commitments at the weekends; but I'm moving to Bristol in a couple of weeks and I'm definitely going to join a band and get playing reguarly again :) really really miss it :( when I play more yes my skins will get replaced more often!!

Maccy, have any pics of your kit in this thread?

EDIT: Yes you have, lol. Is it Amber Fade or something like that? It's a lovely finish :)
