Lost my paper counterpart - DVLA turnaround time?

Hi,

I've lost my paper counterpart of my driving licence - and need it to apply for a International Driving Permit before the 17th of this month.

Does anyone know the normal turnaround time from the DVLA? The website says they'll try to send it out within 10 days of my application, but i'm sure we all know what the DVLA are really like

Any ideas?

Ta

They will probably just tell you that your licence doesn't exist at all.

Sorry for the useless post .

Changed address twice and had entitlements added twice and it's never been more than 10 days, usually less than a week.

Just got both my parts back after passing bike test and it only took 2 weeks, so you should be fine.
