3.328mb memory in windows 7 64 bit ?

hi there guys i have windows 7 64 bit RC and im noticing that theres only 3.328mb memory showing up in my bios setting and system info

it recognizes the 4gb but shows only 3.328 can be acessesd

it says in my bios pci mmio allocation 4gb to 3328mb ( whatever that means )

memory remapping is enabled

any ideas would be much appreciated

in system info it says 3.25 gb

in bios it says 3.328 gb

i had same problem.
type this just above start "msconfig" and click boot options and click advanced options untick where it says memory.

If it says it in the BIOS then it's nothing to do with windows. Maybe you need a BIOS upgrade?

can't remember if it was laptops only but some intel (and amd/nvidia) chipsets had a 32bit limitation (ie under 4GB) on the memory so this could be the cause

Asus shows support for 16GB on this chipset/MOBO.

Rob-banks, have you flashed the BIOS as suggested above?
