MICROSOFT *BILLI BILL.MS.NET random charge in my bank account?

Hey all

Does anyone know what this: MICROSOFT *BILLI BILL.MS.NET charge is for?

I googled it and its come back as some kind of scam, but I also found a webpage saying its a charge for xbox live? I haven't bought any xbox live subscription for months now. The amount taken from my account was 4.99.

Has anyone else come across this charge in their account before?

"I haven't bought any xbox live subscription for months now"

That's the key.

Xbox Live has an "Ongoing Transaction", so when your service runs out, it automatically renews it.

Scary thing is, this has happened to me before, and one time the CC details had expired yet they still managed to remove the money from my account.

You CAN phone them up (think the head office for XBL Operations is in Luxembourg), they'll try everything to keep you, but you can cancel.
