So I thought I'd do a quick photo blog on my first build for years.

Pairing up the Corsair 650D, Asus Sabretooth Z77 and the H100 Cooler.

I wanted to fit the H100 in a push / pull configuration.

Going by a youtube video guide I ended up buying 4 x Cougar Vortex PWM CF-V12HP and also 8 x 6/32 1.25" screws.

Step 1
Fit two Cougar Vortex fans on the bottom of the H100 pushing air through the radiator

Step 2
Reverse the exhaust on the rear of the 650D to become an intake:

Step 3
Install processor, mobo, RAM and PSU

Step 4
Line up the other two fans as an exhaust and hold them in place with a wire tidy

Step 5
Plug in the H100 CPU fan header and then line up the H100 with the top fans. This is a VERY tight fit but it's just about possible.

Step 6
Install the H100 heatsink.

Looking good, apart from the 8pin cable. Surely you could find a way of getting the cable behind the mobo tray.

I had the same problem with the cpu cable, proper done my head in with this randon cable running over my cards, soon fixed with a akasa braided extension then ran it behind the mobo and popped out just above the cpu power socket. Nice and tidy now, just waiting for my H100 to show up, should have been today. I got 4 akasa apaches for push/pull.

You must have saw the H100 youtube vid i watched, looks lovely with those fans on. I opted for apaches to keep the inside totally black, except my 2 blue 6950s, soon to be fitted with acellero xtremes

Was impossible with the length of the modular cable and the clearance between the H100 setup / power socket.

It's next on my list....

If you look at in the corner the graphics cards create between the motherboard and the back of the case, there is usually a gap there. I used to run mine behind that, much neater! Not perfect but it looks a lot better than running it over the top.
