Seems like the H version only has HDMI x2 and VGA whereas the Q has HDMI, VGA, DP and DVI-D. H has better contrast ration but probably not noticeably so.

Other than that

Why do ASUS need 4 monitors in the same price bracket:

Thanks for the reply.

I am a bit lost as to which one to buy. I am thinking the ASUS VE278Q based on the fact it has the most reviews. But that could be due to it being older :S

any advice?

I just got the H the other day,
I also have the Q both brand new and using them both to see which I prefer. ATM I prefer the H its working fantastic for my PC and for my xbox 360. 2ms response seems fine too!

As far as I was aware the H is a newer model so I'l be keeping it :)

I prefer the H because it seems to be a better picture on my xbox and when using SRGB mode on the PC.

Just not been able to find sweet spot settings for either yet don't own a calibrator and can't find anything on the net. :)

Both are decent monitors and that's coming from a 2560x1440 yamakasi :)
