You should see the "game" mode on my LG 29um65! All it does is make everything look blue!

Pity, I have been using it myself, and had hoped it was something rather than a placebo effect.

I guess as soon as a gsync, low ms refresh, alternative comes along, I'm upgrading. Even though I have a good sample, I doubt that I will recoup any more than a third/half? value from my unit, purely because of the bad reputation from the current generation of 34" curved.

That looks like my dream monitor. Shame I got a monitor fairly recently and don't have the GPU grunt for all those pixels.
