All you crucial anniversary owners post your results here!

For ref, these are rated to 533, 3,3,3,8 timings and use Micron D9 GMH chips.

Hi there

You can only get these from OcUK now and yes they are damn impressive. Slacken the timing to 4,4,4,12 and they seem to hit 1000-1100MHz with relative ease.

What kinda voltage can you put through these, I've never gone past 2.2v in general but now see a lot of people pushing upto 2.5v through their memory, is that safe with DDR2?

Got these from elsewhere just before OCUK brought the lot!

Voltage wise, 2.5 is probably the max safe up to 2.6 for short periods shouldn't be a problem, just keep the chips cool. 24/7 up to ~ 2.3/2.4 *should* be ok but again make sure the modules are well cooled.

I am about to move to a c2d and this ram looks to be about the best in the sub £200 market at present, is there any other ram worth looking at?

thanks for some notes on the voltage fronts there, these sticks are actually rated up to 2.2V with warranty so if you're getting those speeds/timings with 2.05 then ramp it up a little!!!

its going to cost me £440 to buy the rest of my system, i'm so tempted just to do it today!!!

Hi Gibbo, I know you can't really answer this but I am curious as to the number of units you 'bought out' I mean CRUCIAL is such a huge manufacturer!!

1-500
500-1000
1000+

I'm just trying to gauge if your stocks will survive to xmas

Ram (and CPU) moved over to P5B for further testing. Will keep this post updated with results as and when :)

Memtesting (windows) at 480 4,4,3,8 atm. 2.2 but can hopefully drop that, just CBA finding a screwdriver for the VR

I wonder if it's worth buying 4GB? for when Vista is upon us? if this stuff is limited edition it doesnt provide much use just buying 2GB because you will never be able to buy another 2GB lol.

Will any games in 2007 be feasable for use with 4GB???

Crucial must be crazy, this is a clear winner they would sell tons of these sticks if they just kept manufacturing them. They dont see the bigger horizon.

Looks like its the RAM to have then...Ordering a set for my new system

6300 and this RAM running should give you a C2D setup capable of well over 3GHz - killer value right there (~£300)
