2 epsoides so far and it's been great!

To say that this program is dark would be an understatement. I found bits of ep.2 rather uncomfortable, especially certain juxtaposition sequences.

It is really good though. Written by the same guy who did Prime Suspect 2, so it has a pedigree.

I agree! - Im quite a tough critic when it comes to TV programs and movies ... but this one is one of the better acted/plot shows I have seen.

IMO game of thrones has gone down the drain this season - more of a softporn fest then a medieval fantasy epic. but I digress

I'm looking forward to finding out how they end this series satisfactorily. I was anticipating a few more episodes before this guy got caught (maybe) but I'm not sure I'm ready for that, plot-wise, despite the ending last week.

It is a pretty disturbing series at times, which is sort of 'good' in the sense that it feels less like a British drama and more like one of the better US dramas we've got used to seeing.

I'm not sure I'd be watching it if I was a single woman though!

Has been excellent viewing and very good. Quite disturbing in places as well.

Looking forward to the final episode tonight.

The BBC Two crime thriller was officially recomissioned earlier this week, with Anderson telling Collider that the first series will end on a cliffhanger.

"There will be another season," she confirmed. "A cliffhanger is always a good thing to bring people back.

"Unfortunately, people will just have to wait for the next season. This is all there is. It's unfortunate that everybody will have to wait for as long as they'll have to wait."

I can't make my mind up a bout this tbh. I am enjoying it, but there seem to be a lot of aspects to the plot which just seem out of place to me...It will be interesting to see how they wrap it up.

I just caught up with the final episode. I kind of put off watching it because I had a nasty feeling I might be disappointed. And I was right. It wouldn't surprise me if they made a couple of endings for this, and the second series meant a nice tight, short series has been stretched.

I say this because I find it so incredibly hard to believe that such a cold, calculating, and thoroughly prepared killer would be so idiotic as to phone in to the station he's just been interviewed and DNA tested at to have a nice chat with the folk between him and Scully. The chances of his voice being recognised would be stupidly high.

And although I thought earlier signs that she was clearly provoking him to target her were ok, this time it went a bit OTT. If her blouse had been unbuttoned any further we'd have been able to see her belly button.

And what's with the "oh, let's just up stumps and go back to Scotland eh love?" when even if his Mrs would agree, a man who's been interviewed yeserday disappearing today might seem just a tiny bit suspicious.

Mmm... if ever there was the need for a grumpy_cat.jpg, it's here. I'm pretty disappointed after such a brutal and raw 4th episode. Though obviously I'll watch the next series. :) How many episodes will it take to get Scully tied up, you reckon? Two... three?

I found some of the things that lead to them getting an e-fit of the serial killer just absolutely groan-worthy... I mean, she just happens to be friends with a doctor, who just happens to have been friends with someone who nearly got killed by strangulation at University?!? Really, I mean, come on...

Also, there was no reason for him not to kill that girl before he left.

Why didn't his wife question why they suddenly had a different car, and won't the police trace the burnt out one to him?
It just went completely **** up for some parts of part 4 and most of part 5.

Just bizarre and a shame, as it started out so promisingly.
