Asus RT-AC87U router using Netgear DGND3700 modem/router

Ok i have a Netgear DGND3700 modem/router and the Asus RT-AC87U router. How do i make the Asus RT-AC87U router just use the Netgear DGND3700 modem? from start to finish? i been trying for about 2 hrs now and still no joy :confused: any help on this would be great.

put the DGND3700 is modem mode...... and set its lan or wan @192.168.0.1
then plug the modems lan cable into the wan port of the AC87U then change the AC87U`s wan port @192.168.0.2 then change the 87U`s DHCP pool starting address @192.168.0.3

done ;) you might need to configure everything on the 87U before you hook the modem up to the router then from the routers wan lan port to the pc lan port.


if everything goes ok you should be able to access the modem @192.168.0.1 and the router @192.168.0.2
