Hmm, I'm on BT myself and not noticed any lagging issues.

My brother did and he mostly played FPS games, but the "lag" he was complaining about was more due to his monitor's refresh rate (60 was too low for him).

Could maybe do a clean Windows 10 install and see how it goes from there?

Yeah I guess that is the only option, now as far as I know you cant do a fresh install if it's a upgrade so anyone know the best place to get Windows 10 or is it best to just buy a retail version?

Have you just run speed tests? Try opening up CMD prompt and ping google.co.uk or/and bbc.co.uk to see how your ping fluctuates. If you notice any significant fluctuations then might be worth trying tracert command.

for example i tend to do this command
"ping google.co.uk -t"

this will produce a constant ping to google.co.uk and i can monitor my ping to look for fluctuations.

Looks like I've got the issue sorted, it's a Intel adapter so instead of going to Asus's site and downloading the updated driver I went to Intel's site and downloaded a newer driver and that "fingers crossed" has sort it out, I'm still going to swap over to Windows 10 thou.
