Monsoon MMRS pump covers and D5 Aquabus pumps

Can anyone with experience of the MMRS pump covers help me?

I'm at the planning stage of building another water-cooled machine and I'm thinking about using the Monsoon standalone MMRS pump and top for a D5 pump.

I would like to use an Aquacomputer D5 with aquabus connector (they're in the OCUK configurator), but I'm worried about the space under the pump cover.

Is there enough space to connect an aquabus connector (effectively the same as a 3 or 4 pin fan connector) under the pump cover? Or is the pump cover a snug fit to the back of the pump?

I was reading the article linked by Brizzles, where they say

I have heard rumors that Monsoon are considering making an extended end cap to accommodate the USB D5, however I wouldn’t be holding my breath for it to come out before purchasing the SAP. It may be a pleasant surprise down the track if it was ever made and released.

They're right, it is a pleasant surprise.
