Gaming laptop idea's for £750?

As title. Looking to play GTA V at 1080 res. Cheers.

From experience I know that GTA V runs well on an i7 & 860m at 1080p. 60fps was easily attainable with some settings on medium and high.

2nd hand laptops sell for little money.

I recently bought a Clevo P150sm-a laptop for £735. Has an i7 4710MQ 2.5HZ with turbo boost to 3.5GHZ, 16GB Ram, Nvidia 970m to and 1TB hdd. Been using it to play through the single player games in my Steam library when I'm away from home. Has ran everything I've tried great, depends if you want brand new or are OK buying second hand.

Is an 960m good enough?

960m is an overclocked 860m. So you'll be fine as long as you don't expect max settings.

Nvidia made a guide on what settings affect what.

Can UK customers source the upgradable Eurocom laptops?

They are just clevo laptop resellers and there are plenty of those in the UK but I cannot link as they are competitors

Dell Inspiron 15 7559 might be worth a punt. I bought the i7 6700hq version for £699 with a coupon code. I think the same ones £729 right now. 100 quid for a 256gb m.2 SSD + 8gb more ram, job done. It comes with 8GB ram and 1TB SHHD drive, 960m 4gb gddr5.

There is plenty of vids on youtube with different games, showing the expected performance. They are mostly done with the i5 version, so expect to add a few more FPS to what they show.

Here's one for GTA5. It gets 50 to 60fps on high settings.
