Hi

Need some advise please, I haven't had a desktop for a few years now, but want to get back into it for gaming etc..

I have a 27" Dell 2560x1440 monitor (DP or HDMI only), 750Gb SSD which I'll pull out of my laptop, keyboard and mouse.

So I'll need CPU, MB, RAM, GPU, Cooling, Case & PSU. I will also move over my server hard drives as it'll double as my plex server (removing my current Q6600 server box running WHS2011). I'll need room for 2-3 3.5" drives and the SSD.

I also want to keep things cool and quiet if possible so happy to go water cooled if it's reasonably priced.

Might be able to strech more on the price as I'll be selling my current laptop to help fund it which should bring me £400-£500.

Hope you can help :)

Cheers

Well finally all the funds are available. Also I completely forgot that I can put it through my company and save the 20% VAT :D. So this is what I've ordered:

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £984.89
(includes shipping: £0.00)

Total ex VAT £820.74. So a little over budget but I think going for the 1070 over the 1060 will see me better for the future, plus I want to run games at 1440p (as I have to monitor to do it).

Oh put the wrong memory down (I added it all to the basket again to put on here). I ordered the 3000 version. Hopefully I'll get it all tomorrow. Ordered Win 10 Pro from Amazon so hope that the key works!
