Silver Arrow (1 fan) on a 6700k?

Hi All,

Looking to re-use some components,

Can i use a Thermalright Silver Arrow with 1 fan on a 6700k?

Exact model: Thermalright Silver Arrow CPU Cooler (Socket LGA1366LGA1155LGA1156LGA775AM2AM3

I believe all the LGA115x sockets have the same spaced holes for cooler attachment, so so long as you got all the bits it should be fine.

Thanks both, looks like it did the job.

I may also hunt out another another fan to add onto the heat sink.

Hi,

Looks like I got my fan slightly wrong, it's in fact the Archon (I had both on my old order, one was cancelled)

I assume no issues also, it will provide adequate cooling? (Year 2011 model with 1 fan)
