I don't think it's much to worry about. Your next phone will be usb type c which this mobo has.

As for having a fault you would know if your usb ports were faulty trust me

Quick question, are all of the pci-e slots the same on this board?

Ie, does it matter if I move my gpu to another slot?

Since replacing my old 560ti with a gtx970, I get slight background noise through my Asus soundcard in headphone mode. I'm thinking I need to move my GPU away from the soundcard.

With my old mobo, only 1 slot was full speed.

Has anyone updated the HDMI firmware using the HDMI 2.0 FW Update Tool. Mine updated to 1.42. Am I missing something?

I removed the graphics card to do the update.

I sometimes remove it and use onboard.

Anyone tried updating bios to F20d using EFIFLASH? Keeps saying "unable to successfully read bios file." I managed to update it using Qflash utilty but I prefer EFIFLASH.

Still bugs me a little that boot time is slow for me on this system. Mate just got a Asus board that cold boots in 9 seconds. I know bit ocd bit meh!
