What size are motherboard screws?

I need to get some motherboard screws that are slightly longer than normal ones.

Anyone point me in the right direction?

reason? is because ive got a motherboard and at one end there is somekind of a heatsink that has got a bit that goes round the screw holes so i need some that are slightly longer.

M3 x 14mm im guessing would do?

Stupid question but the motherboard is on stand offs right? If so the screw isnt going to simply screw in higher... what you can do is take some spare stand offs and double stack them all, might look a little odd but its an option and creates the space you want.
