Man I hope it does arrive early, my s4 screen flickers a bit at the bottom occasionally so I want a new phone but really want a Note 5 not an S, I nearly bought an s6 from amazon.de a couple of hours ago after the flicker got annoyingly persistent for a while but I can wait 8 or so weeks for a Note.:cool::cool:

*If* it has a bigger batter, the newest Exynos, UFS, a better camera, IP certification and front facing stereo speakers - I may get it. My N4 and newly replaced S4 should be able to fund most of it.

Only thing I'd change in my Note 3 is low light camera performance, little more speed and of course can never have too much battery life. Wanted to upgrade to S6 but with the prices and me now getting used to phablet size I think I'm holding out for this thing. Not sure I'd want a 4k screen, sounds like an overkill.

in very much the same boat - camera in well lit environments is excellent and better than many current flagships but low light is indeed weak. didnt feel the note 4 was significantly better to justify the upgrade but if the note 5 retains a removable battery and addresses the camera shortcomings then its my next upgrade.
they can keep their glass back though... really dont see the point whatsoever. how much time do you spend looking at the back of your phone?

Yeah I'm prone to dropping my phones so stick a case on as soon as I have it out the box. My HTC One M7 was beautiful to hold except it spent its whole life inside a case so this thinness or glass back business is of little concern to me. I've looked at Note 4 except S6 already has it beat in low light camera wise so if this is on the same level or even slightly better then I can see myself keeping the Note 5 for quite a while.
