hi guys,

could someone please help me as i am struggling, i updated my gfx driver tonight as the AMD app advised me to do so.

following this i booted BF1 and i am continually getting Direct X errors and the game crashes.

i have tried to ddu and reinstall multiple times tna.

any help would be greatly appreciated as it has turned my PC into a bit of a brick.

Spec;

i5 6600k
16GB Corsair Vengeance 3200mhz ram
Radeon Fury NITRO 4096MB HBM

Its a game issue mate needs patching. I would link the battlefield forum post but it seems the forums are down.

Just strange how it worked fine before I updated the drivers. Now I can't play at all, how can I revert my drivers back to what they used to be ?

Easiest way is to download the older drivers from AMDs site. Then remove the current drivers you have with a tool such as DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and install the older ones again.

I had it happen last night first time in a couple of days it's so bloody random for me.

Sadly the only thing I can say to you is wait for more game patches. Have you tried DX11 or DX12?

thanks for the advice mate its really irritating me - i have by far the best PC of my group of friends and paid £60 for a game that doesnt even work....

i even rolled my drivers back a version tna,

Just play in dx11, no more issue. Runs just as good

Second that. I've only had a couple of crashes in DX12 with 16.10.2 but the cut scenes stutter as well. DX11 runs just fine.

I will try this later.
