Hi guys, I've got an issue with an SSD i've salvaged from my brothers PC.
I want to use it as a storage drive for my steam games.
However, when i plug it in to my PC and start it up, it causes my pc to blue screen and restart. I'm guessing theres some corruption on it and was wondering if theres a way to format it before windows starts up, or if there's any other way to format it.
I was hoping to format it in windows... but its blue screening before startup finishes...
Any advice?

Yeh i can access boot menu and i chose my original drive to boot up from.
I don't think its the sata port or cable since my mate tried it in his pc too using his own cable.
