My fuel is different to how everybody else seems to do fuel.
I have a company car that Antec lease for me. I pay tax on the car itself as its a BIK.
But for my expense claim I just put in my receipt for the fuel (basically I buy the fuel before/after the journey) and submit that receipt, nobody asks for mileage or anything. Any private use fuel I just pay for seperately myself.
But there are other people in Europe who work for Antec who use their own car, and dont have a company leased car, they get a car allowance instead of the leased car, they have to provide mileage for their fuel costs with a google map printout showing the mileage done between the postcodes for each journey for business use.
