Is it permanent?

I've lived worked abroad now for about 6 months now, and although it's great I do miss Scotland. But then I haven't lived there for 2+ years now, it'll be nice to eventually move back.

I say do it.

Last month I decided I needed to change jobs. I'm not happy where I am - the company and the area of the UK I'm in.

Now I have been offered 2 jobs on the same day - both Pharmaceutical

1 job is in Harlow
1 job is in Iceland

Lived in 1 town 30 years, worked at same company 14 years.

Trust me, you will hate it down there. I spent about 8 months in Guildford in Surrey, and although novel at first, it started to wear me down. The pace of life doesn't suit us North Easterners, and the climate was awful, far too stuffy. none of that hearty north sea air!

I would jump at Iceland. But do think what you will leave behind, family, friends etc.

The fact that they are going to fly you out there for a free holiday sounds perfect. So at least you are not going ti jump in with both feet.

Biggest thing I truly missed was not being on the coast.
