Mayhems UV Pastel problem?

Has anyone experience problems with Mayhems UV lime yellow pastel coolant staining tubes black?

I recently swapped my PETG hard line tube over for Mayhems glass, and noticed that on the reservoir and a long run of tube had a sort of smokey residue coating on the inside.

It appear to only have happened on two parts of the system that were closest to a UV cathode tube? the other parts of the system were clean despite the fact that they were being lit up by quite strong UV LED's.

I have replaced the cathode tubes with Darkside 12" UV strips, but don't understand how the cathodes lights could cause this problem.

Sorry, I binned the PETG tubing and have gone to Mayhems glass and changed to LED from CCFL. I am currently waiting for a fitting to turn up, before I can run the system. I will let them know if I get a similar problem.

Funny thing is that it only happened when I swapped from LED to CCFL and I only did that because I wanted an even light source.
