Asus X99 Deluxe: how to get wifi to remain active

I hope tis makes sense but I am looking for a way to get my Asus Deluxe mobo's wifi to remain on when the pc goes to sleep.

Every time I wake the pc I have to wait for it to load up the wifi and I get a message in Chrome saying that the wifi was interrupted.

Any ideas?

Might be a setting in the driver, have a look in device manager and double click on the wifi adapter and check the power settings. I don’t use the built-in wifi anymore as I use an Asus EA-AC87 media bridge, a media bridge could work the way you want but it’s an expensive solution just to have the wifi on all the time.
