I would like to give my pc a kick up the bum, maybe new Gpu, Ram, PSU if necessary.
This is the current set up.

AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 955 Black Edition 3.20GHz (Socket AM3) -

Club 3D ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

Asus M4A79XTD Evo (Socket AM3) DDR3 Motherboard

120gB OCZ vertex SSD

OCZ StealthXStream 500w Silent Power Supply

Samsung SpinPoint F3 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (HD502HJ)

Coolermaster Elite 335 Case

Not sure what Ram is installed 8gb of some budget brand IIRC, a 2tb Hdd and LG blue ray drive. Win7 64

£100-200 to play with,

Many thanks,
Steve

Location
Woolyback Country
PCIe 2.0 support

It has this so while not as fast as pcie 3.0 you should not notice any difference
As always make sure you have the latest bios for your board first (M4A79XTD EVO BIOS 2102)
Bit old that last bios.So we/I can`t say for sure it would work.Someone more knowledgeable had better chip in now i think :D

1060 Card is ticking along nicely so thanks for the help!

Unfortunately the cpu is showing its age and may be ready for the retirement home, and new CPU will mean new mobo correct?

So any suggestions? budget £300-400. would like to avoid new PSU and RAM if possible, at least for the time being.

I noticed some bundle on the overclockers store, but i have no clue in all honesty, which are good bad or awful.

Thanks in advance..
