Hi guys,

Got the i7 4th gen - the CPU goes up to 98 - 100 degrees.
That doesn't seem normal. Re-paste needed. Got some Silver Arctic.

Would anyone recommend the best thermal paste out there?

Also - is there a fan I could get to fit inside the GS30 - to replace original one - as it's loud and doesn't seem to do its job.

Got this with 12mo warranty... but allowed to clean inside (and re-paste).

Thanks!

I've read that the i7-4870hq's (i assume this is the one you have) maximum safe operating temperature is 100 degrees. There seems to be something wrong with the cooling obviously, its up to you.. you could reseat the heat-sink with new thermal paste.. Or RMA it.
