Since the trace show reference to connected_standby power mode have you considered disabling this power mode and just using conventional standby.

Although I guess you are using a desktop, on a tablet where battery is more of a concern I disabled connected standby since was giving a large battery drain, and it seems to be rather a gimick (including check for emails during sleep or something like that) and support requires drivers that support that mode.
I imagine win10 kindly gave you a new driver somewhere that has caused it to bsod ... but as I say conn_standby maybe a useless piece of functionality.
even without conn_stdby, with an ssd it comes back to life fast enough.
this was link I bookmarked

i saw the link its way above me. I have created a power plan that has no sleep on it, it happened after the bloody update and i cant remember if it happened before i updated when i did the reinstall

this is from whocrashes

On Fri 21-Oct-16 10:37:36 AM your computer crashed
crash dump file: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\102116-16375-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: tcpip.sys (0xFFFFF80C13758058)
Bugcheck code: 0x109 (0xA3A000E8240EB672, 0xB3B70D6E768F370C, 0xFFFFF80C13758058, 0x1)
Error: CRITICAL_STRUCTURE_CORRUPTION
file path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\tcpip.sys
product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
company: Microsoft Corporation
description: TCP/IP Driver
Bug check description: This indicates that the kernel has detected critical kernel code or data corruption.
This might be a case of memory corruption. More often memory corruption happens because of software errors in buggy drivers, not because of faulty RAM modules.
The crash took place in a standard Microsoft module. Your system configuration may be incorrect. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver on your system that cannot be identified at this time.

not somewhere I can look in the evtx file at the moment. - I guess it referenced media player.

but I would check out what drivers have been updated on your system last windows update (maybe it is either the network card or wi-fi given the reference to tcip)

[ I would consider disabling connected standby anyway, but for me it needed a registry edit - which is a bit more complicated ]

i did the above, which wasnt too hard to do. And ive just had a graphics card update from Nvidia as well (not great for troubleshooting but i'll try anything right now).
I'll see how it goes and if you do get chance to look at that file i uploaded brilliant

And even after disabling media player etc im still getting the errors about it.

1. Did you know what BSOD event corresponded to it ? was at 10:37 versus the 6:37 of the last critical event - what is the significance with respect to power plan - what was it trying to do (eg hibernate after 4 hours)
2. During the critical events what state was the computer in (connected standby?) presumably you were not using ithough during all that time.

Do you want the error etx files? Or html.
I've taken off standby done the reedit as well so it shouldn't trying to be doing anything. It just has chrome up on the screen so i know when it's turned off if I'm not at it.

if you have disabled connected_stdby (reedit) and problem no longer occurs then that shows there is some relationship between that and blue screen.
(does the standby still work, if not then this is not a long term workaround though)

my last comment was not clear :
Did the 10:37 bsod occur when you did something specific at the computer ?
or had you just left the computer in standby preceeding that (and bsod happened all by itself)
The BSOD was 4hours after the last critical event - did 4hours have a relevance in your power plan. ?

my suspicion is still that it maybe a driver, so need to look in windows update log and see what changed.

an html version of the logs would be more useful, but it is only to see what other events may have happened just before the crash.

Hi dude, only things I've been doing on it are surfing.
The error is still happening even with the standby and everything else disabled.
How do I get a html file of my logs to you? And by that how do I get some form windows?

Had a look at the evtx you already sent - as you mentioned lots of media center warnings, like this very similar issue.
Did you disable MC in the same way it shows ?
and what is in the event log now, immediately preceeding bsod

Hey dude, its a funny one as i did all the stuff exactly like it said, didnt help one bit. I then did another update on my bios and ****ED it! had to then boot it back which was painful and sort it from the second bios which worked, so its running old stock bios. And i have had no issues in 24 hours so far. I am not sure whether the pc eventually updated some hardware or the bios rollback was more important than i thought it was. Who knows but currently it looks like its working and ok. Lets hope we dont have any issues going forward.
