What should i do with this Annoying or faulty?

I have an 850 watt Gold leadtek super flower power supply which was ok intill i added my second 980.

Anyway what should i do with this power supply, should i stop using it right away and get a new one?

Hi and welcome to the forums. Please have a read of the forum rules (you have broken them on your first post) and remove the competitor links.

First off, 850w is more than enough for Sli 980's and we normally only recommend 750w for a pair of them on here so the psu itself should not be overstressed. If it was me then I would be returning that. It should not be making a electrical buzzing noise. You should not have any problems with a return to where you bought it from.

Odd sound that

Either electrical or a fan catching on something. Probably electrical though..

As mentioned above, return it. 850w is plenty for SLI'd 980s

Electrical arcing I'd say.

I'd be removing it from the system ASAP, and not even using it with one card.

sounds like that to me too. Could be as simple as a dodgy cable but I wouldn't be using it until it's been checked properly either way.

That sounds much more like a fan catching something imo... either of us could be correct though
