Welcome to the OcUK Project Logs Section.

This section is for ongoing build logs and modding projects. Please reserve this section for computing related projects only. [Desk and room projects should only be posted here if they include a PC modding project]

Project Log Section Rules

  1. When you start a project log, it is your responsibility to keep it looking clean. If posters quote your images or break any of the rules in this section, it is your responsibility to RTM their posts. If you fail to do this, then your project log will be removed.
  2. Your first post must include an outline of your plans, as well as pictures of the hardware or concept sketches of your ideas. Your progress posts should include answers to questions as well as pictures of any progress.
  3. If you have finished a build but not taken any progress pictures of your work, then please post it as a build log but try and give a review of your thoughts on the case and how your build went including any shortcomings or cool features you found.
  4. Do not post threads with links to your work from other forums. If you wish to use this forum to showcase your project then please post the full project here.
  5. Picture sizing should be be kept in line with the standard forum rules. However, please see the note about spoiler tags in rule 11.
  6. If your pictures disappear then the log will be removed.
  7. If you feel that a comment is unneeded or against forum rules, please use the RTM function and it will be dealt with accordingly. Remember though, if you are posting your work for public viewing then you must accept some critique.
  8. Try to update the log at least weekly, answer any questions and add any updates. If you are going to be away from the forums or putting the project on hold then please outline that this is the case. It frustrates readers when they start reading your worklog only to find out that you have decided to buy a Mac and not told anyone!
  9. Keep threads on track. Do not spam a project log with irrelevant questions or off topic posts.
  10. NO IMAGE QUOTING
  11. Picture sizing should be be kept in line with the standard forum rules. However, please see the note about spoiler tags in rule 11.

Image Hosting
Please ensure that your image hosting is up to date. Many users use photobucket or imageshack. Make sure that you monitor the usage of this account and that you have a paid for a bandwidth subscription if required.

Sponsorship
If you or your project is sponsored then that is allowed and encouraged. Manufacturer sponsorships are fine, however if you are sponsored by one of OcUK’s competitors then please remove this from your log and adhere to the no competitor rules outlined in the main forum rules.
Please also do not ask for advice in a sponsored users thread on how to obtain sponsorship. Use the Trust message function if you wish to communicate off topic questions.
