Looks like there is a section that can come out. Would be great if true.

Answer back is no, however the 5.25" ODD bay can be mounted in a different orientation so the device can be seen from the side window, as per the below image: -

Just the dual as pictured.

Been interested in this case for a while now but at that price you'd be better off going for a Caselabs case including shipping

Seems that a lot of people are more than willing to pay £600 for it without the flight case.

I've fed that back to them, but I'm 99% sure that even without the flight case it wouldn't be that much cheaper. Certainly not £600.

Been sitting on that £600 just for this case since the early Project 916 days.

Really let down that its such a high price tag. I couldn't really justify £800, not when I'm looking to upgrade a lot of my Rig, Monitor included.

Understood, but a 20% difference in exchange rate alone put paid to that price.

Exchange rate is completely out of your hands.

Not enough Aluminium & Tempered glass cases to choose from.

Think I might have to settle with the Lian Li PC-08 as the PC-09 doesn't look as good.
