It came out in 2009, I bought it second hand on here in 2011. Perhaps I will upgrade if Zen is any good. Otherwise lets see if it lasts until 2019.

i have components from years ago still hanging around, still have a Pentium 1 300mhz CPU, a 16mb Radeon card, and some memory modules that run the old pc configuration before DDR became a thing. even an old micro atx cube case and a 100w psu, pretty sure i still have a 100mb HDD around, but i will need tocheck through the stack of operational HDD's to be sure. no idea if i still have the motherboard from that time.

Just a pack rat that never threw away this junk over the years.

I'm still running a i5 750 @4.2 in my hackintosh rig. Bought it from new.

Still works great!

I still run a Core 2 Duo E6700 (2.66MHz) on my desktop PC. Macbook is used for day-to-day stuff and the desktop is used for Guild Wars 2 and college work. I want to give it a much needed upgrade later this year though.

At work we still have old school pentium 233s sporting 32mb ram inside our very old ATM machines. Still working fine after all this time!

q9950. Got it second hand from MM still running strong. Really should upgrade at some point.

My brain is the oldest CPU i have. Its not very good either!! 53 years old now!

barton 2500k on abit nfs7 , the little bugger only still works

Still have an overclocked Q8200 in a working but disused backup PC, had a Q6600 which received regular usage in one of my PCs from 2007-2015.

Sits at a steady 62 degrees c on the standard cooler and a mild overclock (3.2Ghz) while trancoding.

I'm planning to try and melt it when I decide on my new project build.

Im running a dual core Xeon based on Core 2 socket 771. It really sucks. Thankfully it just lives in my HTPC which seems to work well enough. Got that machine for free.

i5 2500k, what do I win?

3770k but i'm resisting the itch to jump, as I game in 4k and the minimum frame rate is a bit scratchy
